Just in time for Halloween.
The sound for this piece was created from an audio source of an unknown origin that came through the computer speakers one day while Brian Routh and I were communicating via the internet on ichat.
I recorded the sound, then Brian edited and mixed it creating the soundtrack for the animation solely from the original source material.
Using the basic shape of a ring and the edited soundtrack, I had a “oscilloscopic-like” computer software interpret the sound. I only adjusted the color and sound sensitivity of the computer software towards the soundtrack. The rest is solely the computer program’s visual interpretation of the sound.
